Many Restaurants, families, and schools serve large portions sizes to children. Why? One perspective is that children should eat as much as they ask for to ensure they grow healthy and strong.

Many fast food restaurants call larger portion sizes “super-size meals.”

The issue with serving children too much food is that it can lead to health-related issues like childhood obesity, diabetes and hard to break poor eating habits.
